As a result of the Best Of Both Offices mixtape series, independent artists that have been on the come up in the worlds of both Hip Hop and R&B have had an outlet to showcase their talent for the last two years. “I started the series to get great music out there that I didn’t think was getting any love or really being heard,” says Immanuel Smith, the project’s curator, who sees the BOBO compilation as a platform that’s helping artists reach places that they haven’t been able to reach before. Some of the names who have appeared on previous volumes are Ty Dolla $ign, Troy Ave, Harry Fraud, Vinny Chase, Bizzy Crook and Euro League. Since Smith is steadily keeping his ears to the streets and his eyes open for what’s buzzing on the Internet, he’s consistently coming across new talent, and now he’s ready to introduce the world to a few new names with Best Of Both Offices Vol. 4. Here is the Life + Times premiere of the fourth installment of the Best Of Both Offices series.
