On August 27th, violinist and music programmer, Alluxe, will release her debut Nomad EP. Though this will be Alluxe’s first release, she is far from a novice in the music industry. Her music programming skills were used by Kanye West, JAY Z, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Herbie Hancock, Cat Power, Bon Iver, Drake, and more. Additionally, she played violin on the JAY Z and Kanye’s collaborative album, Watch The Throne. Regarding the inner workings of her latest single, “Brain Trust,” Alluxe interjects, “I’ve been really inspired by lots of different types of bass music and wanted to make something that combined my love for hip hop and EDM with my signature symphonic sounds and future synths.” Above, Life + Times exclusively premieres Alluxe’s “Brain Trust.”
