A brand whose aesthetic has matured (in terms of menswear at least), Moschino debuted their FW2013 show during Milan Fashion Week and it indicated a departure from the POV of previous seasons – bold prints, energetic colors, and an influx of cuts and asymmetrical silhouettes. Designer Bill Shapiro staged the show inside a restaurant and presented a collection that featured tailored trousers, luxurious overcoats, wool blazers, as well as unique detailed pants. Sure, plaids and dinner jackets still played an integral role to the collection, but this time, wearability mixed with an artistic slant provided the pillars for the Moschino men’s range.
