Billie Holiday Inspires Band of Outsiders F/W 2013 Collection

Designer Scott Sternberg’s Band of Outsiders label showed its women’s collection over the weekend during New York Fashion Week, and it all began with Billie Holiday. Her music was playing constantly in his design studio, and her 1940’s glamour inspired his latest range. From strong-shouldered dresses to boiled wool structured hats, capes and fox fur detailing, the 1940’s clearly touched down in 2013.
