More often than not, I am introduced as an Icon. I accept that, if so many people say it, then I rest my case. In sports, I would think Michael Jordan no doubt is an Icon. But in this technological society, with popular culture not nurturing or even knowing the lasting endurance of a specific person, there will be less and less Icons.
