“Everything goes with anything” is the credo of stylist Lori Goldstein, and after going through her work, that’s the only sentence that seems to sum up her style and aesthetic. Goldstein’s work has covered many years – ranging from her collaborations with photographers Annie Leibovitz at Vanity Fair to Steven Meisel at Vogue Italia to her styling for designers Donatella Versace and Vera Wang. Lori’s world is as multifaceted as the aggressive eclectic style that she has pursued for over 20 years, and we’ve come to idolize her eccentricity – in both work and personality. Here, we break down a few of Lori’s favorite images, as we dug through her archives together and had her wax poetic on a few of her favorite shots to day. Welcome to the vault.

“The first time I ever saw her I said ‘This girl’s going places.’ At the shoot she was so sweet and beautiful. We were all in love with her.”
