Ports 1961 Launches New Collection with Designer Milan Vukmirovic

STYLE

In his first collection for Ports 1961, Milan Vukmirovic focused on building a foundation of essentials made up of the “best of the best” iconic menswear pieces. The cornerstone is a capsule of ten white shirts every guy must have. Each staple is done in fundamental combinations, but also challenged in more directional colors and novelty fabrics. Color and jacquard blocked duffel coats and crombies, star camouflage rain coats, corduroy bonded shearling bikers and washed silk aviator jackets are just a few staples with a twist. These twists are mirrored on a street inspired footwear and accessory collection complete with helmets and skateboards made in collaboration with street-skate legend Tony Alva. Presented in a lofty space transformed into a cool urban bachelors pad, the attitude is confident and sexy; the proportion is broad shoulders, svelte waisted and elongated. The fit is athletic and the trousers are relaxed; the style is eclectic minimalism. Milan Vukmirovic’s first collection for Ports 1961 is an homage to the foundation of modern menswear. An essential collection for every man.
