“It came about through my friend Chords, who was in charge of the whole Ignorant Art project. He had hit me up saying he had this girl from Australia and that they needed some new sounds for her project. It was interesting for me when I first saw her and heard what she was about in the music. She was this White girl chilling in Crenshaw and Slauson, in the hood working on this record [laughs]. It was funny. I think someone did a YouTube video of it and they made it like a stripper joint. They had strippers dancing to the record and it was just funny. That record still has life. It was cool just to see her journey and where she’s come from.”
