Cartier recently showed off their new Manhattan boutique, located on Fifth Avenue at 59th Street. It is the Maison’s fourth boutique in New York City and serves as the main boutique while the landmark Cartier Fifth Avenue Mansion undergoes renovations beginning in the spring of 2014. The boutique concept was designed by the renowned Paris-based architect Bruno Moinard and executed by New York architectural firm, Callison Architects. With a luxurious, contemporary and open feel, the boutique is two stories high with soaring ceilings and three striking chandeliers, located in the Watch Salon as you enter the boutique. Oak paneling in a muted palette lines the walls, while glass display fixtures trimmed with statutory bronze can be found throughout the boutique. Private viewing rooms are available for personalized service. The total size of the boutique is 11,000 square feet with 8,000 square feet of selling space. The boutique offers extraordinary, one-of-a-kind Cartier high jewelry creations as well as iconic collections including Love, Trinity, Panthère and Juste un Clou. The new boutique houses a Watch Salon carrying timepieces from the Tank, Santos, Ballon Bleu, and Calibre de Cartier collections. Rounding it all off is a Diamonds Salon offering a selection of engagement rings and bridal jewelry, and an Accessories Salon with precious objects and a full range of accessories for men and women.
