My sister came home from college one year – where she was a college radio DJ – and brought back the record, Funeral. I didn’t want to like it because what dude wants to listen to what his older sister listens to? It ended up changing the way I thought about music. They were such a strong collective and the songs were perfect pop songs, but done in such a strange way. It holds up too – a perfect record.
