Respect the Shooter: Jason Eric Hardwick

When taking photos, Brooklyn, New York based photographer Jason Eric Hardwick looks to capture moments he sees “within moments.” Whether he’s shooting models, the nature of the backyard or someone participating in illicit activities, Hardwick aims to capture subtle moments in his world and present them in a raw fashion. Here, Hardwick breaks down some of his favorite photographs.

“Ali, the girl you see in the photo, was changing between shots and then having her hair and makeup altered. When finished, she began showing off how comfortable she was wearing so little, and it looked amazing so we mutually gravitated towards the set and finished the moment with a few frames. Quite stunning, this became on of my favorite shots of the day.”
