“‘C.R.E.A.M.’ was killing it in the street and Rae was about to drop his debut album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. It only made sense choosing Chinatown as the main location for this shoot. Alternative images were featured in True Magazine, which soon became Trace. Ever since the 36 Chambers album, I was an official Wu-head, and a few years ago I had the pleasure of linking with Rae on a different tip when I A&R-ed a single with Danish Trap pop artist Slowolf.”
