“This was shot during Kanye West’s Glow In The Dark tour after party at the now defunct Circa nightclub. The tour’s Toronto show was a huge success and I assumed that Lupe, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Kanye and others would spend their time at the after party relaxing over some drinks. Instead, almost every act involved in the Glow In The Dark tour performed at their party, completely unannounced. To this day, those impromptu performances were some of the best that I have ever seen. Lupe did multiple backflips on stage. I was grateful to be there. Soon after taking this photo, I shot some portraits of Lupe, Chris Brown and others.”
