Infinitable Mise En Abîme
“We were invited to participate in the international exhibition ‘Graphic Design Worlds’ at the Triennale in Milan. In order to display our work in such a unique context, we decided to reproduce a table we designed that stands right in the middle of our workshop in Paris. This table is a big and colorful sculpture and it includes a self-standing lighting system. We set the table in the middle of a room with walls painted in the same color palette of the table. On the table was shown a shrunk version of the space in which the table was displayed. This miniature version of the space was full of all the objects we have produced until now–it is a portable catalogue of all of the three-dimensional pieces we ever produced. Hopefully, one day, all those elements will be displayed at scale one in a space somewhere, between our imaginary world and the reality. It is our dream.”
