Life+Times Video Premiere: Max Elto “Daniel”

Swedish producer-vocalist duo Max Elto – consisting of Tom Liljegren and Alexander Ryberg – recently released their debut EP entitled Taped Rai EP.

In this Life+Times exclusive, we premiere Max Elto’s new virtual reality-meets-electronica music video for “Daniel.” Regarding the making of this record and video, the duo had this to say: “Society forces us to create a picture to represent us. ‘Daniel’ is about emotion and discipline in the construction of the image. Both personally, officially, and artistically – not bearing judge on the first impression. In the ‘Daniel’ chapter of the EP, we’re in the mind of Max Elto and as he sees the majority of citizens lining up – he is suddenly questioning this ‘blind’ following of the people around him. ‘Daniel’ works as a sort of symbolism to go your own way. So even if it’s on an individual level or societally one he’s still applicable. “
