“I often follow a strategy of expressing a single message through divergent media. The flower ball is one particularly successful example of this approach. It has seen life as a 3-dimensional design object, as sculpture, and in paintings. When I began this particular project, I had no idea how it would turn out, but looking back over its history, it fits very closely with my feelings.”
