Inside Mama Shelter Paris

In the historic Saint Blaise neighborhood located in the heart of Paris lives Mama Shelter, a boutique hotel with international infamy and recognition. Created by the Trigano family (co-founders of Club Med) and French philosopher Cyril Aouizerate, the property was designed by Philippe Starck to offer an eclectic and electric ambiance thanks to its friendly, warm and casual common areas. The hotel, situated among artists’ studios, Père Lachaise, the Campagne à Paris & the winding cobblestone streets, was set up as a way to welcome artisans (both local and international) and the aesthetic was conceived to make each patron feel the lingering spirit of Edith Piaf, Oscar Wilde, Jim Morrison and other great artists.
