“A lot of my music is dark. I just wanted to make something that maybe dudes wouldn’t want to stand against the wall and look hard to. You go to the club or anywhere people are supposed to dance, there’s usually chicks out there and a few guys, and a whole bunch of dudes standing against the wall looking at each other. I wanted to make something that’s not real soft but also not real hard; it’s just something that make you feel good. It’s about the high points in the relationship.”
