The Mind of Artist & Set Designer Gary Card

This was shot in the Austrian Alps last year for T Magazine (of The New York Times) with Jacob. We had wanted to do a snow story together for a long time, so we jumped at the chance of doing this job. Snow is a fantastic modeling material – incredibly versatile and immediate. The snow sculpture surrounded by fire was actually about 25 feet tall.
