Rajon Rondo Snub

While many may argue that D.Rose and CP3 are the best point guards in the NBA, many fail to mention the Boston Celtics gritty floor general Rajon Rondon. The triple-double machine has earned his way into a rare list of point guards the games has ever seen, which includes Oscar Robinson, Magic Johnson and Jerry West. Just last season, he managed 10 triple-doubles, including three in the playoffs (and a 44 point explosion) for three wins against the eventually NBA champion Miami Heat. No other player in the NBA had more than one. The six-year veteran already has a ring and has recently risen as the leader of the C’s Big Three pursuit of another championship. Sure, Rondo struggles shooting the rock at times, but as he proved last season, if you leave him open, he will make you pay every time. The pass-first point guard is the standard of how every coach wants his point guard to play. Doc Rivers knows it. ESPN should too. Swap Westbrook for Rondo at #9.
