“This enigmatic shot of Sky Ferreira really captured the essence of her early 2013 performance at Bowery Ballroom. She had to cancel several previous shows due to a chronic throat condition and attempted to power through her NYC show. At one point during the show, she started crying and fell into the shadows of the smoke and lights. Her voice was shot, but the crowd showed her immense love before she had to cut the set early.”
