“It was Big Sean’s first big show in NYC. He was celebrating the release of his first album Finally Famous. I was backstage stage taking pics, so I already knew who many of the special guests were. At one point, the room was filled with everyone from Pusha T and JAY Z to Kanye himself. But that never took away from my experience watching the energy and excitement ‘Ye brought to the stage. There’s no greater reward than being this close to the action as a music photographer.”
