“This was a project I worked on exploring the ever-growing phenomenon of fried chicken and chips and what kids thought of it. I hung out in chicken shops and met some of the frequenters. Some just simply loved chicken, some never got cooked for at home, others felt cool being seen in the window making their own choices despite their Mum’s being home preparing food for them. This kid ate there three times a day, because his mom didn’t think she could feed her three children any other way.”
