“I was in the Middle East with David Choe for his birthday. I happened to be showing somebody from the media pictures of when I went to shoot at a prison in Panama. I was asked by a guy if I would like to shoot in a Afghanistan prison where all of the Taliban prisoners are held. I agreed to it, not knowing if they were serious or not. The next day there was a van that came to pick me up and to take me to the shoot. So yes, he was serious.”
