“This shot was taken for his photo spread in Respect magazine in his hometown of Marrietta, Georgia. The “Big Chicken” as it’s commonly referred to, is one of the most uniquely designed KFC restaurants and has become a popular landmark in Mike’s hometown. I was also able to visit a lot of his old hangout spots, including his mother’s old house, which is where it all started for him. I even got to see the handcrafted home studio in the basement of the house.”
