“I met Beyonce while working on Watch The Throne out in London and Australia with ‘Ye and Jay. In Australia I got to build a great rapport and creative relationship with Beyonce. She invited me to her studio room where she was working on her album. She played me some songs and I gave her my personal feedback on them. She gave me a task to reprogram some drums and she loved what I did. Jan 2nd, 2011 she called for me to come work on her album. Me and one of my producers, Caleb McCampbell, flew to NY and produced like 4-5 songs for her. Shea Taylor, who functioned as executive producer of 4 came in and polished the song up, which made the final cut. It also was 4’s second single.”
