Life+Times Video Premiere: Bas “Mook II” (feat Hemdi)



Bas is an aspiring artist hailing from J. Cole‘s Dreamville collective. Born in Paris to Sudanese parents, Bas lived in France and Qatar before moving to Queens, NY at the age of eight. Surrounded by a team of eclectic individuals with global ties, Bas began making music under the watch of mentor and close friend J.Cole in 2010. Since then Bas has spent his time traveling the world, and honing his craft.

Bas’ second project Quarter Water Raised Me Vol. II was released on May 22, 2013. His song “Cousins” was featured on J.Cole’s EP, Truly Yours 2. He’s also featured on J.Cole’s sophomore album Born Sinner alongside 50 Cent on “New York Times.”
