Life+Times Premiere: Le Castle Vania “Feels Like Fire” EP

ATLien-now-LA based producer, Le Castle Vania (aka Dylan Eiland), drops his sophomore Feels Like Fire EP today through his Always Never Records label. LCV kicked started his DJ career by performing live gigs in the Atlanta rave scene. His unique approach to production and insanely energetic live performances (Life+Times caught him live at last year’s Lights All Night Festival) has captured the attention of many of DJs, particularly deadmau5. Last year, mau5 invited LCV on his tour and released LCV’s Prophication EP on his mau5trap imprint.

The beauty of this EP is its ability to tell a story. Even if you’re not “into” synth heavy, distorted bass lines – Feels Like Fire is broken out into five moments as opposed to tracks. Feels Like Fire undeniably hosts club-worthy tunes (because obviously it’s dance music), but it equally provides tracks that feature vocalists that add a human emotional element to an otherwise solely made-for-the-dancefloor EDM release. In August, LCV will kick off his tour in Feed Me’s Psychedelic Journey Tour. LCV states, “I’m really excited to get back out on the road to share all of my new music with the fans and I can’t think of a better act to be hitting the road with.
