Life+ Times: What was the hardest part about putting this book together?
FRANCESCO SOURIGUES
: The hardest part about putting the book together was probably dealing with the editing process – over five years and 10 editions of the magazine, which is about 250 pages per issue. We’ve produced around 2,500 pages, so it was hard to choose the final edit that had to fit into a 160 page book. It took us a couple of months of editing and a few arguments over the final images that made the cut.

L+T: What would you say is the common theme that links all the images found in the book?
FS
: The common theme of the images is that they all belong to a certain kind lifestyle – they are all for sure very representative of a HERCULES way of living. But there are some elements that connect all of them like the love for beautiful things.
