Sometimes when I get in the booth I get into character mode. That was a track made out of character. You may hear me on a lot of songs where I sound different. I may be flowing hard on this one or laying back on that one. I just get into character. I feel like “Let’s Get It” is like a trap character anthem. I was on tour with Ty Dolla $ign when I found out that Wiz and him were already hipped to the record and that they wanted to be a part of it. That shocked me. Those are my brothers, so I got the track to them ASAP. Both Wiz and Ty killed it. We just dropped it in the streets and it just caught traction. We didn’t expect nothing like it. We didn’t expect the record to make noise like that without a nice budget behind it, but being that the record was strong it caught traction on its own.”
