“Monocle” Opens Up Hyatt Regency London Location

Opened in October of this year, Monocle’s second London shop is located in one of the UK’s finest hotels – based inside the confines of the Hyatt Regency. For a magazine that has always situated itself on a global peg, the publications brick and mortar iterations have become an integral part of the magazine’s relevance. ”The hotel lobby shop is something we’ve long been interested in at Monocle,” says editor Tyler Brulé “It brings together travel, retail, newsstands and design. Moreover it’s a place that has long been neglected but is an essential outlet for our readership.” With bragging rights as having by far the coolest hotel “gift shop,” the store will feature collaborative goods from brands like Comme des Garçons, Drakes and Porter at The Churchill at their new 30 Portman Square address.
