As the ‘90s wore on and the new decade loomed, Houston’s good girl imaged shifted. After a tumultuous marriage and several run-ins with the law, Whitney’s 1998 album My Love Is Your Love, her fourth studio album and her first in eight years, was a comeback of sorts that introduced a more aggressive, temperamental Houston that spawned hits like “Heartbreak Hotel” featuring Kelly Price and Faith Evans, and “It’s Not Right But It’s Ok,” that earned Houston her sixth Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.
