This is another portrait from the set of “Cop That Sh*t.” This is Missy Elliot in between takes. With so many guest stars in this video, and so much downtime, I had a chance to make small talk and get personal with a few of them. Famed portrait photographer, Martin Schoeller – whom was an early influence on me – said in a recent interview with regard to working with celebs, “You come to realize they’re just like everybody else.” It was many instances like those on this set, that I learned the same thing about them. Being famous is a job. It’s not what it seems. I enjoyed my time with shooting celebs in the decade and a half I worked with them but, I eventually I moved away from that world.
