“I rode for several different skate companies before, but Nike is just so far ahead when it comes to actual shoes. It was amazing when I signed my first contract. In between sponsors, I would wear Nike’s because they were good. Before there were skate companies, people rode in Converse, Air Jordans and Dunks, so I guess it was pretty natural.”
