Sotheby’s Presents “NIGO Only Lives Twice”

NIGO is revered as a true visionary and pioneer, and has continued to be highly influential in the worlds of street culture, fashion, art and music. In honor of his 25 years of influence, Sotheby’s Hong Kong will present NIGO Only Lives Twice. The forthcoming exhibit grants an inside look into the Bape founder’s one-of-a-kind private collection of jewelry, furniture, accessories and artwork, while the accompanying auction offers the opportunity to own rarities from his extensive collection. “I wanted to have an estate sale of my own, but obviously I couldn’t get any enjoyment from it myself if I was dead. So I decided to do it now,” says NIGO. 250 pieces of collectibles, including a watch designed by Jacob the Jeweler, KAWS figurines, special edition Goyard luggage, a vintage Spider-Man costume, and a Louis Vuitton cigar humidor, among many other items, will be on display and also up for auction. NIGO Only Lives Twice will be on display to the public from October 3rd to the 6th, with items being auctioned off on the October 7th at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
