Model, fashion stylist and shoe designer Tabitha Simmons unveiled her collection of sleek footwear designs in 2009, and since, hasn’t slowed down. With each pair handmade in Italy, her timeless yet feminine range got its start by Mr. Jefferson Hack, who urged her to turn her skill and passion into something more. Here, Simmons weighs in on why she always brings it back to her English roots.

“I started to design my line as I was always passionate about shoes when I consulted with designer brands. The publisher of Dazed and Confused, Jefferson Hack, was the person who went out and helped me find a good team and pushed me to do it. When I’m designing, I always go back to my English roots for references such as a military and victorian mash up!” – Tabitha Simmons
