In an 2009 interview she mention that she had no fun singing any more because the entertainment industry is not the same anymore, because everything is about money and not the talent. She couldn’t have been so right about that. Somethings in life we shouldn’t change. We lose site in what our dreams were about through all the noise. r.i.p Whitney Houston “we will always love you”

It is so sad that she has died at such an early age…..and once more it seems that people only care when you die:( She was so talented and gifted with such a remarkable and unique voice. And what makes it even more sad that Whitney didn’t find peace in life.May she rest in peace…at last!

seriously tho, she turned the star spangled banner into a hit fam! uncanny! I honestly think it’s up to superstars to help other superstars out in times of need; especially when they’re going through a tough time in life. an amazing voice like that should’ve been featured on more albums than just her own. the fans’ voice gets drowned out among all the hate sometimes. lift each other up no matter your situation – #CelebrateBlacksInHistory

Whitney Houston was a great music icon that was Famous for a lot of things. But to me she will be recognized of her work in “The Bodyguard” with Kevin Costner. Whitney tried to find happiness in all the right places but the world couldnt see how truly she made the music industry with her stage presence, her voice and her movie. Whitney you deserve rest for what you have achieved in your life. God Bless you Whitney Houston and Rest In Peace. We will all miss you very much for what you have given us in your 48 years of life and treasure each moment of it as we live. and We will always love you for that.

the legends are dying off and I fear we are being left with a generation unenthused about creating music that is not just catchy but thought provoking and full of soul. As a product of the 80s I was raised on soul music from decades prior and even with the 80s unveiling it’s transition into Pop, it was engaging music. Whitney Houston helped to exemplify the standard of the Black Woman along with the Claire Huxtables of the world. She was the voice that every young girl I knew wanted to emulate. She held the poise and effortless demeanor of a goddess before the mic. Whitney Houston not was but IS TIMELESS.
We will remember as your voice supplied the soundtrack to many of our lives. We love you Mrs. Houston!

they won’t have you to kick around any more whitney. rest in peace sweetheart. you will be missed. and a big FU to the person who leaked the photo of you in the casket. nothing is sacred any more. and shame on mtv for not covering her service on any of their channels. i shouldn’t be surprised – they were the same network that refused to play any black music videos until michael jackson hit the scene. that was in the 80′s – not so long ago, is it? i will always love you whitney….along with millions of people who still carry a heavy heart. it’s still hard to believe that you are gone…much too soon. say hi to God for me.
