LEISURE

The Hotel Bel Air, located on 12 acres, just above Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles reopened this past fall after a two-year renovation by The Dorchester Collection, Alexandra Champalimaud, and The Rockwell Group. From the Bang and Olufsen equipped guest-rooms, to the Wolfgang Puck designed menus, all the way down to the pink primose and red azaleas, no details were overlooked. All while preserving its classic 80-foot oval swimming pool, renowned Swan Lake, signature limestone floors, and wood burning fireplaces, the hotel has managed to maintain it’s vintage, opulent vibe with all the well-appointed digital accessories you would expect to find at younger establishments.

Originally opened in 1946, with only 62 rooms, the Hotel Bel Air has been a destination for tourists, businessmen, and celebrities alike for the past 65 years. With rooms starting at 335 square feet, and going up to 2260 square feet, there is something for every traveler.
