Luke,Being a drug addict doesn’t mean someone is a bad person. People are always quick to talk oh so much shit about people with addictions but you have NO idea what an addiction or someone with addiction is like until it happens to you or someone you love. Addiction is a disease and one little stint in rehab is NOT a cure all.

this is my fav joint from Amy as well. and i’m sick of people talking trash about her. unless they have dealt with the chaos and pressures of being a celebrity. unless they’ve been scrutinized under the microscope. walked a mile in her shoes in her regular day to day life you have no right to judge. people always talk about the SYMPTOM (self medicating) instead of addressing the primary issue (the turmoil that would cause an individual to ingest/consume things that will harm them) just to dull the inner pain. and half the people talking have an aunt/uncle strung out under similar influences. smh. what have we become, a society with no empathy for the dead. it’s shameful. RIP Amy. now you can have the peace you so desperately sought. :’-(

A Life was lost..it shouldn’t matter how or what the circumstances were. Everyone has their issues and no one is perfect. Only God can judge. You cant deny the raw talent she had as an artist and the legacy and path she paved for other british talents in this generation. Too bad we couldnt see her comeback. I actually heard this song for the first time a few days ago. I had not listened to Amy since her Rehab debut. I definitely knew she was a rare blue eyed soul of a gem. I agree with people in saying it does not matter what type of life she lived she was someones child, sister, or friend. She had fans and people she touched and inspired. She was such a unique non conformist kick ass artist and she will be sorely missed. It would have been nice to see the comeback. I would have liked to see her collaborate with Ms. Badu now that would have been an AMAZING combo like peanut butter & jelly. RIP AMY!
