“This was my first time shooting and meeting Kendrick Lamar. I was shooting his very first headlining show in New York at SOB’s. This was before he blew up and became the Grammy-nominated artist he is today. He was very humble and focused, which you can sort of tell from looking at this photo. It’s cool to see his transition from where he was to where he is now.”
