Originators ’11

Regarded as one of the most influential artists to come from the subway art scene, Lee Quinones has done everything from racking paint to having his work featured in galleries. Here, he takes us through his Brooklyn studio, reviews his recent work and talks about his definition of “art.”

His Art resonates in me/with me!!..When he said the ‘Ethics’ was dead or dying, he hit home, because it has died!..Without ethics, nothing lasts, it may manifest things; but they shall not last!! As with People, they will not last!~! ..Great Heart N Mind!!

Muito bom o trabalho, pena que não consegui entender o que disse, pois não vi qual é o conceito da obra. Mas muito bom.

I love the concept for his pieces and how he brought it alive though imagery. I appreciate aesthetics from any artist whether entertainer, painter or writer as long as it has a significant message behind it. Plus, he gets another ten points for being from Brooklyn.
