JAY Z’s Life + Times joins painter iona ROZEAL brown, at Salon 94, to talk about her melding of Black and Japanese culture. Inspired by the likes of Spike Lee and Maxwell along with Kabuki actor Bando Tamasaburo V she creates art that has roots in both voguing and hip-hop, as well as Japanese Kabuki Theater and Shunga (Japanese erotic art).
