The Audemars Piguet Millenary 4101

The Millenary 4101 was one of the hottest launches of 2011. It features a brand new movement hand-built by AP for this special case that allows the balance wheel to be seen at all times. The 4101 looks much more expensive than it is, in fact it looks a lot like AP’s amazing $370,000 titanium minute repeater, but costs just above $20,000. This watch is just hitting stores for the holidays and won’t be available for long. (AP)

I’m not sure if watches will come back as big as they used to be in the 50s and 60s just since so many young people prefer using their phones to check the time. Still, I’ll leave home without my phone now and then, but never without my watch.
