“This coming emotion picture was shot in the Philippines, banned in Alabama, and ceremoniously dropped in the Bermuda Triangle by a group of furious parents, who claimed their sons and daughters saw it one time and then never came home again. Now at long last you too can finally dive in and freak out!” – Deep Cotton

Atlanta based Deep Cotton is comprised of Nate “Rocket” Wonder and Chuck Lightning. The duo along with songbird, Janelle Monáe, founded an arts collective named the Wondaland Arts Society. In addition to working on their pending “fixtape,” Runaway Radio (drops September 25, 2013), they co-wrote and produced The Electric Lady – Monáe’s recently released second album. We take a glimpse into the creative minds of Deep Cotton through an exclusive trailer for the gents’ first song from Runaway Radio, “We’re Far Away From Heaven Now We can Freak Out.”
