My first born will soon be 16 and that is so amazing to see her grow up and develop her own personality. It is so beautiful to see elements of you in your child but also see them grow to be the women and men they need to be. Admittedly i am not a HUGE fan but i admire your music on some songs GLORY being one of them. However, what I had to realize is what you do for a living puts you in the public eye more than say a regular job would. Your personal life is yours and whether you all choose to share private moments should be respected… Everyone has a theory on your life… but no one knows you as the loving couple to each other and now the doting parents you will grow to be. Parenting is a process not a title. There are many parents but no true connections to the child or children. I am sure this child will want for nothing… make that true in not just material possessions but also in the moments when she will need you to sit down for a minute and totally be intune to her. Nothing compares to bringing forth life and then guiding it so that she can fly on her own.Take this precious irreplaceable time to nurture her get to know her and have her to yourselves. There is plenty of the time for the world to know her on her terms when she is older but the first 10 years are going to be the time she needs you both to mold her and help her deal with the meanness of the public (lets not kid ourselves) she is going to have it hard… People will be mean because they can and she will need your strength to get through it all. I know this is Jay’s site but i also have a message for Mrs. B. Please , please take a break from the spotlight. you are still so young and a new mom and technically a new wife. You two have only been married three years and in my eyes that is still the honeymoon stage. You have a beautiful, unique voice and star power. But i want to say if i may take you time coming back to the spotlight. There is absolutely no rush and your most important job right now is settling in to your new role as mother and balancing being a wife with that. Music will always be there. I also love the fact that you are expanding into producing and editing. I like the Idea of you filming your concerts. Give the public your entertainment via glimpse of you at you at rawest being emotional about the music. Your personal life is yours and Jay’s alone. Express yourself and give the entertainment what it is missing. Authenticity and pure emotion. tell the story in simulated loosely adaptations of your real life without it being a gimmick. Wanted to say the song is amazing!!! So inspired by it! Me and my hubby (Jonathan) had our 1st child together a healthy 7 lbs 6 oz ‘Baby Boy’ on November 15, 2011. The experience u described in ur song is the exact feeling we experienced as well. Words cant describe Gods creation, and the blessed-ed privileged of having a life (baby)! I’m so glad and proud of Beyonce for sticking in there and having baby Blue naturally. I know (personally, as a women) it wasn’t easy but it’s the best way to laboring & delivering a baby.
