“The concept of ‘dipping your bucket where you stand’ [is from] a buddy of mine who told me this story that made so much sense when I was at a crossroad with the brand and with life. You go around the world and travel so much and go everywhere else looking for yourself, when the reality is that who you are and everything that you’ll ever be and all of the resources, are literally at your feet. Innovation, creating and building-  it’s all based on what you have. How do you continue to make what you do better? That’s really what that concept is about, and we’ve built The Brooklyn Circus exactly where we started.”

    New York is a city I have still to visit but hope to get there and savour all its variety. Seems like a lot of designers have made their way to New York. Even the winner of Project Runway (which my wife likes me to watch with her) was from Trinidad.
