Just One Eye, the retail concept in Hollywood’s historic Howard Hughes building, recently announced a joint partnership between artist Damien Hirst and designers Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen of their brand The Row, which has been noted as the first in a series of curated artistic partnerships. With a main goal of nurturing the work between artists and unique mediums, Just One Eye co-founder Paola Russo recognized it was a natural step for these two brands to collide and to showcase Just One Eye’s kickoff to their artisan partnerships.

The joint work blends the brands two worlds – the classic elegance and luxury of The Row’s backpacks yet adorned by the works of “the rebellious hand of Hirst.” Created in a limited edition of 12 and with a portion of each sale to benefit UNICEF, these works blur the line between high art and high fashion. Signed by the artist, each backpack features uniquely individual embellishments, from an assortment of prescription pills, to Hirst’s signature spots.
