Theron: We always want to be prepared when working with an artist. We want to have at least two ideas ready for when they hit the studio. It’s not about whether they like it or not. It’s more about getting a feel for the artist and seeing where their heads are at. We had like two records done by the time she came in and she liked them. She’s was feeling the energy.

Timothy: Mike Will pulled up the track. I immediately had an idea that was a little raunchy. I thought girls would mess with it, because “kisses down low” sounds cute, but it’s really some grown-up shit. We were in the studio laughing about it and just bouncing ideas off of each other. We knew we wanted the verses to be real and sexy, but the hook had to turn up like if a rapper was singing the melody.
