Originally, when I was doing ‘Big Things Poppin’, it wasn’t supposed to be a single. It was designed to be an album filler. He said that the more he played the song for people the more he realized that it had to be the first single. I honestly would’ve done a lot more breaks and added some stuff to the beat if I had known it was going to be the lead single. It still ended up being a jamming ass song though. Mannie has always been one of the illest in the game. Truth be told, I don’t believe he has ever gotten all the shine he deserves. He basically carried Cash Money on his back. Think back of all the hit songs CM had in the past and Fresh was behind them. I am thrilled to see him getting his shine and respect. I hope he keeps releasing dope music.
