“That’s John Legend. Having a record with him is huge for me. It’s an accomplishment for myself, because of what I’m known for. I take pride in being able to come outside of that, but still not go outside myself. I figured a lot of people would be thrown off. You wouldn’t normally picture us two together, but it made sense because John is a very soulful guy. It was a great match. That’s how I ended up with two records on this latest album.”
